Good times were had by all at the Marine Corps League’s 250th Marine Corps Birthday Celebration, November 10th, 2025!
The Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal was presented to First LT. Frank R. Blundetto, at the Marine Corps League during our 250th Birthday Bash, for his service at Guantanamo Bay, 1985/1986. The Commendation was read by Commandant Brian Gregory, and presented to him by his best friend of 45 years, Steve Boracchia.
Commandant Brian Gregory and Senior Vice Commandant Dennis Palmer led Color Guard details at two events on the Marine Corps Birthday, 11/10/2025. Also, Gerard Sardina and Jason Pachucki delivered food to the Nassau County Vet Mart! Food was donated by the Albany Ave Elementary School.

MCL Sunrise Detachment and Suffolk Detachment Supported the Marines and Poolies at the 2025 Dan Daly Event at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow NY. Brian Gregory, Sunrise Commandant and Joe Dimauro, Suffolk Sr. Vice Commandant, received the appreciation award for the League serving over 800 Marines, Poolies and Family at the event.
